tach wire- please help if you know

what wire can i use for my tach wire (my split second maf "scaler" needs the signal)?

I'm assuming it doesn't have a "tach wire" per se as an american car would, but that i have to take signal from the coil packs in some way or another?

Someone please let me know exactly what to do- 1999 C43 (if you tell me how to do it on a differnt m113 i'll probably be able to figure it out too)

thanks
