what tech pubs,products or diagnostic tool;s would you recommend to maintain a 2003 S500 44000 miles.thanks for any advice.

answering my own kind of foolish question,star service library is a dvd available at the MB dealer for$94.covers 215/220 2001 to 2006.it is the best money you can spend if you are going to own your Benz outside of warranty.and its wise money to spend to help you better understand what the dealer tells you they just did to repair your vehicle. bones

You can subscribe for a day for ~$25 and download to your heart's content. Should some technical bulletins or recalls be issued after the production date of the DVD, they will be at this site. The Web site may additionally have some accessory installation bulletins not necessarily on the DVD.
It's still a good idea to have the DVD, of course.

are you sold on mobil one?
just got our new to us 2003 S500,the dealer just did the b service prior to us buying it,they used syntec for the oil change.i was loyal to mobil one 0/40 on my last E320 but i saw some data by amsoil and mobil one ranked lowest.im about to do the oil again just for my piece of mind but im leaning towards a castrol or valvoline product. any comments? bones
