1999 C280 Sport

99C280 Sport CEL Code P0306

Changed out wires and plugs switched #4 Coil to #6 still getting P0306 Misfire detected at #6 Cylinder. Has compression....could it be a bad injector? I have been using some off brand 87 octane fills. Input greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Plug wires are common on those engines, try swapping with another cylinder and see if the code changes, if not, swap an injector. How do the plugs look?

replaced the plugs with new ones(2) and switched the coil. Wires looked good and did pass an ohms test. I am leaning towards an injector

Good advice. Don't overlook the wires until you have swapped them. They are the most likely culprit on that engine.
