rt side mirror fault, pls help

rt side mirror fault, pls help
The dealer is clueless...can anyone tell me the fix for a rt side mirror that (intermittently) will not return to normal position after rotating down/in for reverse??? The mirror has alredy been replaced twice and the dealer is out of ideas. Thx, Don.

SUBJECT: DEALER TECHNICAL BULLETIN 57/01 57/01-1 RECALLS AND SERVICE CAMPAIGNS: WHEN REPAIRING ANY VEHICLE, ALWAYS CHECK THE VEHICLE MASTER INQUIRY FOR OPEN CAMPAIGNS 57/01-2 GROUP 88.70 - MODEL 220, PASSENGER SIDE EXTERIOR MIRROR: When placing the transmission gear selector lever into reverse ("R") with the exterior rearview mirror switch in the passenger side position, the exterior rearview mirror moves into the "park" position. If you encounter complaints of the mirror not returning to the previous "drive" position, in vehicles with chassis end number A219159 or lower, replace the right door control module with part number 220 821 98 51 7C45. For warranty, please use Damage Code 72220 90 and Operation Code 72-5822 M0.
