Hi,
I have a factory, 2006 Mercedes Benz Webasto heater I bought off Ebay. (Thermo Top C) (Not sure what MB vehicle it came off of, but 2006)

I'm looking for information on getting unit to "fire up" in a non MB controlled application.
I'm not worried about the circulation pump, just getting unit to fire up.
I have fuel pump and universal wiring harness with toggle switch.

I understand that factory MB webastos are proprietary units but their still must be a way to talk to the ecu on the webasto and trick it into starting.
New universal ecu for heater is $500.00 US and not an option at this time.

I'm looking for any information on how factory webasto works and/or wiring schematic in MB applications.

Unfortunately, I have the factory MB version and it is different.
I need MB specific info, on the heater.
I talk to Webasto USA today and they told me that MB designs its own control ECM for the Webasto heater.
It talks to car computer thru some sort of control buss.
Their must be some MB tech that repairs these and could help me out??
