W203 Full Vibration Rough Engine

Here it goes;

My vehicle is a 2001 C320 with 50,000.00km. Over two months ago i got stuck in a huge snow storm in Toronto, Canada. Being the good Canadian that i am , i had Nokian Hakkapelitta snows on my car, yet i still got seriously stuck. I was getting really pissed and started rocking the car back and forth and finally got out. Up until that time my car has been a pleasure to drive.

From that moment on, my car has driven like a tank, the engine runs as if it is always freezing cold (very rough and loud), the whole car vibrates from 0kmh - 140kmh. No warning lights come on, the car accelerates and shifts perfectly. I am at a loss as to what it is. MB wants a small fortune to figure out the problem.

Before i bite the bullet, any ideas on where to direct them.
