My independent mechanic, who does work on higher end (MB, BMW) performed a service D and successfully cleared that service code. However, these following two malfunction codes appeared and he was not able to clear them:

1) Emissions inspect performed on time?

2) Main inspection performed on time?

Any help is appreciated. I posted this on the W211 forum and got no responses.

More annoying than anything else, as they disappear when I scroll to the speed indicator, but I would like to get them cleared without paying the dealer $100 for five minutes of work. Thanks in advance.

hi did u manage to clear this from your display as im having the same issues:

Since you're replying to a thread that's seven years old, you must have searched the forum to find it. My manual didn't have the information on page 300. Fortunately, your link and the pdf file had the information needed and it worked after I confirmed the other service notices. After months of looking at the reminders, it's so nice to have them cleared!
