As the unit is designed to be anti-theft, it's important to have the right keys. You may be able to have a local car stereo place help you out.
To remove command, you insert the keys into the two slots- the keys lock in automatically, and you pull the unit out. To replace, you push down on the spring pins holding the keys to release them, then push back the unit.
