99 CLK 430
CLK 430 idle and shift issue

I have a 99 clk 430 and just changed the plugs and oil a month ago. I normally drive pretty casual and have no problems with the car however tonight I floored it from a stop light and got up to 100MPH on a long stretch then slowed back down with no problems. Then later in the evening when I was heading back home the car was hesitating and sort of "jerking" when I would pull away slowly from a stop light. Almost felt like the car was going to die. When I stopped at a stop light the engine was sounding a little weird/different now!!!!!!!!! When starting and when in park car sounds very different, when in drive sound goes away.? No Error codes are showing up on the display. Anyone know what may be happening????
