My 1994 mercedes E320 is giving me a code 17 and I can't find any information on what this code means. I have replaced the shift inhibitor, my wife was told that was the problem. So if that was the problem how do I clear this code. I have used the method to clear the code that is on the net holding the button but the code doesn't clear and the check engine light will not go off. Any help would be appreciated
