01' C320 Audio output problem
Seems my OEM am/fm/casette radio develops a "hiccup" about every three seconds causing intermittent signal, all other radio features work and it is not a loss of electricity. If I turn off car the radio "resets" and will work normal for a while and then do it all over again....Any ideas and solutions?

Does it work fine with the CD player?
IF not, then you have to isolate which D2b Fiberoptic component is causing the problem. Most likely the teleaid unit. You will have to remove the teleaid unit out of the fiber optic loop and bridge the fiber cables together with a coupler. The Teleaid unit is located in the trunk on the floor under the carpet.

My car has fiber optic cable but I never ordered/installed a CD player.
I appreciate your info but I am a cave man when it comes to electronics, any way to break down the tech talk to my knuckle dragging vocabulary?
