Unusual turn signal problem

Trying to find a wiring diagram.
I think the problem might be in the wiring harness that enters the headlight housing.
That is the main feed for the electrical for the whole light assembly, headlight, highbeam, turn signal.

The problem on my car is in the headlight assembly.
I have power to the 4 drivers side black w/white stripe wire.
It is either not getting the ground from the big brown wire, or the power is not going through the headlight assembly to the bulb socket.

Ok Guys,
Here's what i found.
The computer in the car stops the voltage to the wire as soon as it detects a open fault and does not restore power to that wire until the key has been re-cycled.
The problem with my car is that the bulb socket metal tabs do not make contact with the headlight housing when the socket is fully rotated in the headlight housing on the drivers side, pass side is OK.
Don't know why, possible plastic wearing or manufacturing tolerance issues, but i digress.
The way to fix it is to take 2 wires with very small female spade connectors on the 2 wires.
Carefully plug the 2 wires into the headlight housing with the main wiring harness that goes to the headlight housing unplugged.
On the C230 the turn signal wires are the 2 bottom wires, big brown which is ground and black with white for drivers side, or black with green for pass side.
Hook up a test light powered in series with 1 wire and ground the other,
Or use a volt, ohm meter like i did.
Rotate the turn signal socket until you have the test light lit, or have continuity with the VOM.
That's it, remove the wires and plug in the main wiring harness to the headlight housing and you will have a working turn signal.

I do not think I have a wire/contact problem in socket area. I have tried to rotate the socket, while turn signal is flashing. I have never seen the fault in this situation. (offcourse the fault will come, if I reached the point when the socke looses connection, but never in the approx 5 mm where the contact slides on the corresponding contact in he housing.)

mercedes E 320 CDI Avangarde est 2004 2000
The most common problem with a lot of Mercedes is that wiring going to the indicators gets brittle with the folding of the mirrors, sometimes it touches and all is ok then gets intermittent and shows fault the only real way is to replace the entire mirror frame and its costly £350.00 at Mercedes. if your really handy then remove door cover and mirror and rewire the frame.

2006 e55, 2008 cl550
This has started for me on an 06 e55. right turn signal occasionally will fail temporarily. swapped bulbs and sockets left to right, same problem. I know the mirror signals are working fine, only seems to affect the bulb in the headlight housing. Can anyone explain how to change out this main lighting harness that apparently causes this problem?

Mirror turn signal bulb
My 2006 C230 flashes double speed and the right mirror lamp does not work. I installed a new bulb insert; still did not light up! I removed the cover again and put my fluke meter on the electrical connector. It showed a pulsing 12 volts. I measured the resistance on the original bulb insert: infinite resistance - obviously "open". I measred the resistance on the new bulb insert and got 400 ohms??? Does anyone know what the resistance should be? The new insert is from World Pac WP-376063, replacing 203 820 16 21.

C230 mirror light
I ordered a second right mirror insert; it measured 1 ohm. I installed it and it worked. I used a couple resistors to insert into the electrical socket so I could touch my Fluke 115 set on ohms. You must really push hard to seat the insert into the mirror shell. Also start with the insert at a steep angle as you install it.
