Analog Motorola Microtac
Just purchased a 2000 s430 two weeks ago. Very disappointed in the cost to upgrade to digital. Are there any interfaces that are available that would sit between the connector in the car and a digital phone? I also have the voice activation in the car.
I know that verizon will still carry analog phones but the plans are analog plans and are unattractive (Price to minutes), but may be willing to sacrafice.
Is anyone out there that did pay the money $2000+ to Mercedes for the upgrade?

As far as I know there is no interface available to use the digital. In addition to work with the MB set up you must purchase an MB phone from the dealer as the firmware is proprietary to MB. I am not even certain that a digital from MB can be installed in a car with the analog set up.
