Cleaning MAF
CEL comes back to MAF and o2 sensors.......Just cleaned the MAF...Re-setted ecu...how much time will that buy me before i replace the MAF? cuz it runs great now...no CEL...

yeah, I have always heard that cleaning MAFs, O2 sensors, etc is always questionable. Doesn't hurt to try but likely will not work in the long run.

All that cleaning is nothing more than a band aid and a waste of your time. Neither of the items are made to be cleaned. They are both throw aways. In fact cleaning could in fact make a marginal part bad. Just replace them with the correct OEM new parts.

I think that is mostly because people wait until the MAF is failing and throwing codes before they try cleaning. I think it is a better strategy to clean the MAF at every air filter change.
