How many MB (W203 specifically) owners have faced bulb burnouts prematurely?
I've replaced at least five exterior bulbs in the last 3 months: both lowbeams, both side markers, one brakelamp.
I have pretty much replaced all major bulbs at all four corners of the car since we bought it in Jan 2001.
Is this a common problem? Is it a problem with MB's bulbs?
Have you tried switching to other bulbs (I'm not talking about aftermarket headlights... superwhites, etc) and seen the problem resolved?
Little things like these are getting annoying.
TIA

The front sidemarkers may have a contact problem. Mercedes has a special repair set for them.
Mercedes also has special wiring sets to mount on the rear lights.
Your dealer should know the part numbers.
If not, let me know, I'll put them on the forum.
