How are you guys replacing the battery on the older Key Fob's (circa 2002)?

Circa 2002, but what model is this off of? Flip out blade key (ML, SLK) or the no blade all remote looking one? Flip out blade has its own cover on the back that pulls off. The newer remote style you take out the blade back up blade key, then with a toothpick or something that size, push on the little gray section inside like a button and try to pull on the back piece which contains the batteries.
