BAS/EPS LIGHT

I recently purchased my 2002 ML 500. Yesterday my BAS/ESP light came on and it would not come out of park. From reading the treads, this may hurt my pockets alot. Is this a simply problem which I can purchase the sensor or does mercedes have to take care of it. I waiting for mercedes to call me with thee quote.

I just hope that you are not going trough same hell as I am... If MB quote sound abnormal ask for DTC printout before you authorize repair.

They almost ripped me out of $4500.
