On ALL Late Mercedes You WILL Need a Scanner to READ and Clear the codes..Early cars you can clear them yourself.Without any Tools..Yeah The early cars were great! Snap On Makes a Nice Tool for this as Most Other Companies...

my 97 C36 got the check engine light on .... and i replaced the O2 sensor by myself ....... i don't know if i don't clear the DTC code .... will the check engine stay on ?
