Electrical problem: Fuse blown with regularity

During the course of the last 2 years, my 1987 300SDL (W126) has demonstrated a most devilish behavior of blowing the fuse that prevents me from being able to adjust the driver's seat. I replace the fuse with the correct sized fuse and then the next time I adjust the seat, the fuse blows. Any suggestions on what may be causing this fault or what clues I should look for as I begin to troubleshoot this one?

Thanks.

Most likely the wiring on the seat frame is rubbing on something so when you supply power to the seat motors, the fuse blows.

Start by having a look under the seat, if nothing is obviously touching the seta frame then remove the seat for a closer inspection of the wiring.
