Coolant light comes on at highway speeds.

After driving at highways speed for 5 to 10 mins the coolant light will come on for about 10 to 15 min then go off or if I drop below highway speed it goes off also.

On the SLK, the washer fluid level sensor and coolant level sensor share a common circuit. If either one of those sensors goes bad, it could make the opposite warning light come on. Your dealer will probably want to replace both sensors, to be on the safe side.

P.S., check your coolant level first, obviously.
