Error Codes
There is nothing specifically wrong with my 08 C300, but I suspect that a ducting door is not functionioning properly. Occassionally I hear a banging that sounds like a plenum door opening and closing. So I scanned the codes and I have 20 pages of codes
There are three uniuqe codes and i don't know how to interpet them:01-4C-20780
01-4C-20701
01-4C-08106
Do you know where I can find a reference to a list of codes, or can you tell me what these are? I assume the "C" is for chassis but I'm used to seeing a P, B, or C followed by 4 digits. Not sure how to read the above.
Regards,
Rick
I see more than 60 views and no responses. Am I missing something here? Can someone point me to where I can find the definitions to these codes?

Rick

Thanks, I had found those too. Seems like my codes are either more detailed or they are using a different standard. These aren't OBD-II compliant codes in my car are they? Does anyone know?
Much Thanks in advance.
Kind regards,
Rick

I had to get the blower motor replaced several weeks ago, and I brought it in when it was acting up and they said they couldn't find anything wrong, but I recall he said there was an error code on a duct motor. That's why I want to find out, but It sounds like I should schedule a visit anyway. I have an annual inspection coming up so perhaps that's a good time.
