Hopefully a simple problem with my 1997 420S

Hello, The heat on my "new" 1997 420s with 135,000 miles blows hot on the passenger side, but blows cold on the drivers side.

If you turn on the defrost it does the same thing...the passenger side of the window clears up, but the drivers side does not.

Where should I start?
I just got this car and it is amazing. Our last Mercedes was a 1991 300e with almost 400k miles...Is the 420s going to be a nightmare to maintain?
Thank You, Les Marietta GA

97 S420
What did you ever find out? I just picked up a 97 420S and I get no heat from either side. I suspect it might be my pump not moving the fluid, but I am not sure.

1996 E-320
Scan some of the previous threads on A/C, there is a self-diag you can run thru the a/c head unit, its embedded into one of the posts. I have a 96 E320 with the same hot/cold issue, but its a couple notches down on my to-do-list even here in AZ where I need it!
