Question Replace door lock pins

Hey guys, has anyone replaced their door lock pins? I got some chrome ones and they do not appear to be threaded. Hopefully someone here will have some insight on this.

TIA,

Dom

The threads don't start for about 1/8"...but they're threaded. How else could they attach/remove?

Thanks for the reply, I figured (knew) the originals were threaded. What I meant was the replacements do not seem to be. They came with small tubular rubber inserts [?} I can see getting them on but wonder how one would pull up to unlock the door? Course, we never really do that but you never know.
