wjm2005ml350

I have a 2005 ML350 and need to install a brake controller. Is the vehicle pre-wired for one, or is this going to be complicated? I asked my dealer about it but they were unsure, plus they said I could only use a class 2 hitch. I plan on getting a class 3, and this is not my first install, but is the first on a mercedes. Thanks
