Internal Leakage for Active Body Control

Hey there,

My 2002 CL600 has been acting a bit out of the blue lately. Last week one of my hydraulic valves in relation to my ABC blew out, causing the car's front end to drop and become immobilized. They fixed and I got it back, but then the car would lower itself after being parked.

The message, "ABC, Stop Car Too Low" came on every time I started it. I would then have to raise it via the airmatic switch and then the car would be driveable. But this would happen very frequently--like every half an hour.

I took it back and they are trying to figure out the problem. At first they thought it was an external leakage of ABC fluid. But now, it seems to be internal. The car is also unique in the sense that it works off of a belt--that's what the service rep told me. Anyway, they're going to have someone else take a look at it.

Anyone familiar with this anomaly?

Mohammed

Is a dealer looking at it? It sounds like the valve block they replaced wasn't replaced correctly. Or maybe the pump is going bad.

chances are one front strut is leaking down. It probably just looks like both of the front sides are dropped. If the abc pump was "going bad" the car would not be able to raise itselft back up. see if one side is lower than the other and go from there. If the right front stuts is leaking internally or externally then the whole front of the car will looked dropped to the ground.
