Can anyone tell me where the lateral acceleration sensor is located on an 03 C230 coupe?

I don't have a coupe but mine was beneath the trunk carpet in a trough above and behind the spare tire well.

Thanks, mine looks to be in the same place. The part is on order so I'll know when I see it. The error code is C1160.

The coupe's sensor is indeed in the same place. Replacement requires a T30 torx driver, a 10 mm socket and a small flat-bladed screwdriver to free the clips on the electrical connector. It's a straightforward task that would take about 5 minutes if you knew what you were doing, 15 if you were figuring it out as you went along.
