Key switch problems?
This appears in part to be related to the position of the steering wheel. I am thinking perhaps the inside of the key switch is just worn out. How is this switch removed, and what should I expect in the way of hookups? The starter problem could be a separate issue, but I can deal with that.
Also, where is the voltage regulator on this vehicle? The battery constantly charges, and we have to keep adding water once a week. It could be nothing more than a bad ground to the regulator so that it can't shunt, but I have to actually *find* the darn thing to fix it.
