What to avoid to void warranty...
Does anyone know what mods are allowed that will NOT void a factory/extended warranty?
For example, will any of these void warranty?
- headlamp/fog upgrade (aftermarket HIDs, bix, etc.)
- lowering module
- body kit install (genuine or fake kits)
- using bigger wheels than what is stated in the manual
I recently bought a 07CLS550, I was looking at all these interesting mods but I don't want to lose my 7yr/100k warranty!

They aren't going to warranty any parts that didn't originally come with the car. This describes most of what you've listed.
On the off chance installation of any of these parts causes damage to other, original parts, there may be a question.

Your goal should be to be very good friends with your dealership service department. Pay them to do an oil change or two, for example.
Then, prior to doing any modding, ask them for a reading regarding warranty considerations. They aren't going to turn away business.

Very simple answer....
No single mod (or a series of mods for that matter) will "void your warranty."
That said, a dealer has an obligation to MB to deny warranty service for a fault that they feel was caused by a mod.
If your aftermarket bulbs, for example, cause an electrical fault because you wired them wrong or they draw too much power, then that fault would not be covered.
The advice from the previous poster was sound - establish a good working relationship with your dealer and they may not be too nosy about your mods - but you need to be mentally and financially prepared to pay for any problems caused by your mods.
You gotta pay to play....
