Question about Multicontour Seat Issue
Ok, I'd tried to find the answer to this by searching several forums, but haven't been able to do so. My car is an 03 CL600 and the soft close, etc still work. Also, every function of my seats work except for the pulse/lumbar. When I press any of the "inflate" buttons there is a click that sounds like it's right behind my shoulder...like a relay click sound, however none of the cushions are inflating. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

The problem could be with air compressor. Clicking sound could be just normal as solenoid opens the valve to inflate a bag but if there is no compressed air available it won't

Update to this: If I pull the fuse to the PSE pump to reset it, there is still no change.
The seats still DO NOT inflate; but the locks, soft close, etc DO WORK.
Any ideas?

I'm not sure, I'll try to check that.
If I have someone press a lumbar button while my head is in the trunk, would I be able to hear the pump with the carpet stll in the trunk; or would I have to pull that to hear it?

For my car it turned out to be the PSE pump. Even though the soft close/central locking worked, the circuit for the multicontour seats did not work.
Also had a leak in an air line.

I installed the pump myself in the dealers parking lot, and then had the dealer code it through Star. I get a discount on parts...I think it was $600 for the pump, if I remember correctly. I fixed the line myself also...
The pump itself is SUPER EASY to install...you just need someone with Star to code it for you; and having someone check for leaks is a good idea...otherwise a pump replacement will only fix it for a little while.
Does your soft close/locks still work?
Do you hear the relay in the seat back click when you try to activate lumbar?
