97 e32o resetting engine code?
I left my lights on and my battery went dead. I boosted the car and it started right up but now I have a check engine light on and the car is not running well. If I unhook the battery and hook it back up it works great but only for a few miles then the light comes back on. Is there any way to reset this code so I don't have to take it to the dealer. I think they program the computer to get you back for service any help would be great.

Everything is great now. I drove the car for 40 miles shut it off and when I started it up it worked great except the engine light was on. I un hooked the battery for 10 seconds and it reset itself.
