I recently changed my oil, front brake pads, starter battery, and eveything else that is required for the "B" service, but I did not reset the FSS on my 2004 SL500.It now tells me I am several days past my B service date. I have followed different sets of instructions from postings, but I cannot get it reset. My owners manual tells me to get the procedure from a dealer, and my dealer tells me they will charge me to reset it. I also read that it will not reset now that the new oil has been cycled and I must change oil again prior to resetting. Any ideas?
