Higher profit margin for the dealer than the MB recommended stuff. Have him show you the can. It should state the mix ratio for fuel. Now look at the fuel you had in the tank. It seems ever since MB did away with the free maintenance dealers are patting their bottom line by adding stuff like this injector cleaner, etc.

Dealers have been offering fuel additives long before they stopped free maintenance. It should be a up sell though. You shouldn't have to pay for it unless you asked/agreed to having it put in your vehicle.

Gotcha. I just had Lasik, the printout had light ink, and I couldn't get anyone to interpret it to me. So far, it doesn't sound like I got some kind of magic sauce.
