HELP... W140 Stuck in limp mode
All,
I have a 97 S500 that's stuck in limp mode. I parked the car after a 7 hr drive, got in it 1 hr later and the 3 amber and one red brake lights came on. The spedo does not move and the steering is "heavy". I checked all the fuses and disconected the battery. I have reverse and one forward gear. Any ideas?
Also, I am in Port Clinton, OH; anyone know of a good indy in the area?

try position 2 on the key then turn wheel full to left lock then to the right full, should reset from what i remember... either way you need to see what codes are being thrown by the car, sounds like a sensor went out...
