Keyless-go Shifter - Wiring Schematic
Can anyone provide me with a wiring schematic for a keyless-go shift knob?
I don't have keyless-go on my CL but I would like to see if the knob for it could be modified for use as a simple (no key required to be in the ignition) push button starter/kill switch for the engine.
Regards,
Tom

It would take a lot more than a shift knob to make a car keyless go. Dealers do not even offer this type of retrofit and it would be impossible to do without a dealer because the EIS is a dealer installed item only and requires dealer coding. You need keyless go cards 300+ shift knob 500+ each a new EIS (Electronic Ignition System) 500+ and wiring I would imagine. The only person that would even have an idea would be MBenzNL. It definitely would not be cost effective though.

Actually, I simply want to use the shift knob as a push button engine starter/kill switch.
Aside from the shifter, I have no interest in the OEM keylessgo system whatsoever.
