I have a 2004 E55 AMG with 35,000 miles. I have a small leak in the coolant line comming down from the resivour. The line starts as a 3/4 rubber hose, has a coupling changes to a metal line, runs about 2 feet metal then a coupling and back to a rubber hose. The metal 3/4 line is where I have a leak. It appears that a hose clamp on a nearby hose has been resting on this hose and has rubbed a small whole. I need help with a part number (numbers are not clear and most cannot be seen). I would also love to know how much it costs for the part and what a fair price would be for this replacement. The car is out of warrenty and this will be comming out of pocket. I am about an hour away from a MB dealer so I will have to patch the leak and take to my closest mechanic...that i think i can trust...Please let me know what part I am working on here and any possible problems that may occur.
