I'm new to the MB world, and I have some questions regarding the old S class. I'm looking at purchasing a 1988 560sel with 130K miles. The car has all books and records, 1 owner bla bla bla...

I was wondering, what are the weak points that I should be aware of. Also what is the hp and gas mileage of a NA spec version of this car. I'll be using this car for a 100mile commute everyday....
