ml350 d/s lock r&r
I am a new MB owner. I have a 06' ml350, with a lock issue. I have had several issues with my ML but now out of warranty,..... I need to fix it myself.
The drivers door lock makes a awful jackhammer noise when trying to lock it using the key fob and it will not lock. Mercedes says it needs replaced at a cost of $610. I did some research a few weeks ago and found some info on the replacement but I can not find it again. It had something to do with drilling out rivits and some detailed info.
Im pretty handy when it comes to mechanix on a vehicle but I admit its nice to have someone that has been through the process before.
any info is appreciated!!!!! I plan on trying to do the replacement this or next weekend
