92 500SL hardtop problem
While putting hardtop back on the right front latched as setting the top in position and when I attempted to latch the top with the control it would not operate and just dings. How do I manually unlatch/release the right front, so that I can attempt to mechanically latch the top?

If you flip out the sun visor, you will see a small access hole with a plug over it. Remove the plug, and using the allen end of the soft top tool in your tool kit, insert it in the hole and turn counter-clockwise(I think) until you hear a click. That will open the latch. It is also in your owner's manual if you look under emergency procedures.
