I just got a 91 190e 2.6 And It revs too high it seems 2700rpm @60 in 4th/od .I was wondering if a diesel 190 diff would bolt into the rear of my car or if other benz have the same diff .

I have all sorts of desert trucks and rockcrawlers and if my calculation was right in 3rd @60mph was like 4000rpm which is like 4:11 gears which if I raced the car the 4:11 would be great I just would love to find like a 3:00 or something tall to get some better Mpg

Hi, I know this thread is old, but do you still have that diff? My 190D has a 5 speed manual with a final gear of 0.771 and I need 3.69 or lower.
