How to improve the brake system of G300 (W463)

I just bought a second hand W 463 of 1994. I feel the braking system is very loose even if I press so hard. After checking from the MB authorize center everything is ok and the mechanic advised me to change the booster to a new one which has been improve for G500. My question is : 1/ is anybody feel that the original braking system (booster system) is not right? 2/ is it true if I change to the G500 booster the brake will become much better?

Thank you for any help

Regards : Kairos

have you considered a brake fluid flush? A lot cheaper and you'll be flushing and bleeding brakes anyway....that's where I would start. M/B fluid is known to break down quickly and develope air bubbles...
