Smile c180k 2004 misfire cyl 1

HI

I HAVE A C180COMPRESSOR WITH DTC P0301 AND P201A P201B CHANGED ALLREADY IGNITION COIL SPARK PLUGS AND INJECTOR NR 1 BUT THE PROBLEM IS STILL THERE. THE MISFIRE COMES IN AT IDLE SPEED AND WHEN WE TURN OFF THE IGNITION AND RESTART ENGINE ITS RUNNING GOOD FOR ABOUT 30 SEC. WHEN THE ENGINE IS COLD THRES NO PROBLEM BUT WHEN ITS COMES TO ABOUT 50 DEGREES CELSIUS IT STARTS MISFIRING. ANY IDEAS WHATS CAUSING THIS PROBLEM?

THANKS

You probably have leaking crankcase breather hoses. This will throw many misfire codes and can give a surging idle.

Do a search, there are threads with alot of pics of the problem, it's well documented.

cyl 1 misfiring c180k

thanks for replying ausmbtech

however we cheked the breather hose and its all fine. like i said when the engine is cold then thers no problem but when its warming up to about 50 to 60 degrees celsius it starts misfiring always on cyl 1. we checked today the ecu connections and find out that when me measure on the wires of the nr 1 injector the signal is disappearing when it starts misfiring could this be a ecu fault or is there another possibility thats causing this problem?

thanks

misfire-

check the signal to the injector before starting, if its there and then disappears its not the dme-check compression , likely cylinder low on compression due to wear on the valve seat -likely cylinder head
