W140 PSE vacuum pump replacement

I am wanting to replace my Bosch PSE pump (doorlock, etc - the one under the rear seat). My part number is 140-800-28-48 (1994 S420). I've been looking for a replacement online and the ones listed on E-bay range through the model years of 1991 to 1999 and their part numbers are just a little different - like a pump from a '95 S320 - 140 -800-11-48. Does that kind of part number difference on the pump matter or do I have to find the exact part numbered pump?

Thank you,

Al B

I think my friend has one for sale. He thought he needed one, but it ended up being something different. I believe you need to have this programmed as well to work properly. I will ask him if you don't hear back from me just shoot me a PM

hi, I am about to replace mine in S500L, but it is a different part number to the one you mentioned. The part number I have for the Bosch unit is: 0132 006 350. I just managed to find one in Indonesia for $500. Big savings on what the MBshop quoted me $2500 just for the part. Hope this helps.

Great, thanks very much. I just managed to get a brand new unit for $500 here. Not sure what the import tax would be here also customs take a considerable amount of time to clear things. However should i require any other parts, i'll let you know. Thanks again
