W204 Rear Suspension Help, Please?

My Eibach front and rear anti-sway bars arrived, and the front installed fairly easily. Rivets had to be drilled out to open and reuse the bushing clamps, but other than that, very straightforward. The front bar is in the photos below, before the cover was reinstalled.

The rear is another story and I need expert advice! On further research, the tech here realized that the entire rear sub-frame has to be dropped, including removing springs/shocks, which is about 3-4 hours in the flat rate manual at around $100/hour ! Although the shop manual says the sub-frame should be dropped, it looks like if one rear wheel was removed, the bar might be able to be snaked out cross-car, and new one maybe installed the same way. Has anyone tried this or had any experience changing the rear anti-sway bar without dropping the rear sub-frame? The rear bar is at the shop, waiting, while we figure out how to do this without so much spent on labor. Attached Thumbnails
