Hello,

I have a 2003 W203 C180 Kompressor

Just recently I have noticed that sometimes the vehicle will not start first go.

I turn the key to "reds" and try to start it but it won't start first time and it tries again to start by itself and makes the loud grinding sound like when you try to start a car when it's already running.

The bad part is it's starting to do it more and more often now.

Hopefully this is unrelated but the other day the car stalled by itself and when the car restarted the check engine light stayed on. The light went off by itself later that day and the car has been driving fine since. I've been told it is to do with a perished breather hose.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
