MBtech - New E320 Pulls to the Right

Very quickly after buying my 2003 E320, I realized that the car pulled to the right. I took it to the dealer who claimed to do a tire alignment on the car (it took two days to do it and required a lot of calls by me for them to even get to my car), but the problem showed up again immediately as I was driving it away. I have read about multiple 2003 E's having this problem. Is there a single cause and fix for this? What is it? I have checked tire pressures and while uneven, the pulling continued after the pressure was corrected. I have already driven the car over 1000 miles with this problem (I have a long commute) and am reluctant to drive the car any further for fear of uneven wear.

btw, this is pretty noticable ie when driving in a parking lot at fairly low speeds the wheel begins to turn right on its own.

Thanks,
Tom

Is there another dealer close to you?

If the car is pulling that badly, even at low speeds you probably have a bad tire on the right front.

I would swap the front tires side to side and see if the car now pulls to the left. If so, then you have a bad tire and that tire should be replaced. With a 1000 miles on the car that is a warranty issue and the dealer should warranty it!

Just take it to the dealer and get a loaner untill they fix it. I cant be too hard to figure out, they just need to look at it instead of doing a alignment for no reason.
