Rain sensor wipers on CLK-500 are the worst
Is there any kind of fix for the rain sensor wipers for the CLK-500. Mine seem to work horribly. Whenever it is raining ever so slightly the wipers move constantly in the rain sensor mode. What a disappointment for a $64,000 car.

Mine has been to the dealer 3 times now and they still cannot find out why this happens. They said they even had the "tech line" on the phone trying to remedy this. Mine do several things differently. Sometimes they will swipe once when you turn them on, and not swipe again no matter the amount of rain. Other times they will swipe repeatedly at a stop sign with very little moisture. The dealer keeps saying it works in the bay when we pour a bucket of water on the shield. I have not had time to try it myself with a spray bottle but am going to tomorrow morning...just to see what happens.
