underdrive pulley
Does anyone know if by changing the underive pulley to an aftermamrket one will this void Mercedes warranty. Also has anyone done this and if so do you feel its a good choice for an upgrade.

warranties are voided with the use of aftermarket parts IF they can prove that the part caused the failure in the car.
mechanics can be very creative in that way, so be very careful.
underdrive pulleys work by underdriving your accessory pulleys (alternator, power steering, and water pump pulleys). they should free up around 5hp/tq to the wheels. you probably wont get a noticeable amount of gain, but every bit helps. i also hear that you get to your redlines quicker, for faster shifts.
