ERROR P0702

ERROR P0702
HELP! My 2002 c230 coupe is stuck in "limp home" mode and the only error code is P0702. I know it is a transmission code (maybe im wrong?) but the connectors that I could see are just a little wet? If anyone can help point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated!

You're right in that it is a transmission code. Check the voltage at the "wet" connector as it should be close to battery voltage. Since it's wet, it may be shorting out to a point where the voltage would be reduced. Good luck.
