Can this causes Limp Home Mode ?

Hello!

Currently my W168 A160 have a fault in my ESP which is cannot get erase off

ESP fault :C1140-016 Steering angle sensor N49 short circuit [Current stored]
engine fault : P0600-014 CAN BUS: diagnosis mode or system invalidation electronic stable program.

both pointing to ESP. Can the limp home mode culprit to be the steering angle sensor cause me limit to 30mph only ?

Yep, while the steering angle sensor is faulty the speed is limited. It's an A Class thing. Get that steering angle replaced and it'll be all good!

What you mean " Its an A Class thing " means that it occurs often on A Class ?

Sigh.. It cost like RM1200 in Malaysia. Very expensive D:

It's a A Class thing to speed limit the car. Not a particularly common failure on a 168, not chep though but you don't have much of a choice. You could always try 2nd hand as they don't fail often.
