2003 C180K engine transplant help needed.
Guys!
Hi my name is mikrucio and this is my first post!
I have inherited a C180K and I find it to be really slow....
I have access to a complete 1JZ-GTE from a Toyota Soarer (240kw)
What Id like to know is apart from the obvious things like engine mounts gearbox and tailshaft problems.
How hard would it be to perform this conversion and keep everything working
thats controlled by the original Mercedez ECU.
I could get the 1JZ into the car no problem and even get it started using the 1JZ ecu.. but my concerns are the other things that rely on the factory ECU.
What do you guys think>?
